Shout to the Lord, all the earth, let us sing. Power and majesty, praise to the King. Mountains bow down and the seas will roar, at the sound of Your name.

Hi hey hello!

Happy Wednesday! Today is just a great day, I don’t have class and I get to lounge around today, get some stuff done, and generally do stuff I otherwise could not do. And on top of that… it’s Wednesday, and I love Wednesday. I rocked my exam yesterday, watched some LOST, got some sleep, yeah, good day.

Anyway, last night was The Living Room and it was spectacular as always. One thing God was really teaching me was just how big He is and how minuscule we are in comparison. God is this huge God… He holds the universe in His hand. He mountains bow down and the seas roar when He speaks. He controls every single thing in the universe. He tells how the planets how fast to spin, He tells the sun how brightly to shine, and then on top of all of that, He LOVES us.

Think about that. The God of the universe loves US, and not like the cliché thought we like to have, “Oh, God loves me.” No, He loves us with an everlasting love that surpasses the love of anyone on earth by far. Our parents, friends, siblings, spouse, they will NEVER even come close to the love of God. God’s love doesn’t change based on His mood or how you are acting that day. His love never changes. Even when we suck. Even when we reject Him and ignore what He is telling us. He loves us. Even when the God of the whole universe tells us to do something, and we blatantly ignore it, which in and of itself does not make sense, He still loves us, and He still died for us. That is definitely the Good News. That  though we are rotten dirty sinners, Christ came and died, and then He rose again, because He actually wants to be with us for eternity. Mind blown!

Moral of the story: God loves you and sent His son to die for you so you could live with Him forever. Oh, and come to The Living Room.
