Took this heart and put it through hell, but still you’re magnificent. I, I’m a boomerang, doesn’t matter how you throw me, I turn around and I’m back in the game.

Hi hey hello,

Happy Thursday! As I mentioned yesterday, my friend, Kate’s, birthday was Monday. In celebration we saw The Hunger Games. We made shirts and everything. I was rather proud of mine. It was a black v-neck t-shirt with a spray painted red mockingjay symbol on it. It was faint so you could hardly see it. I LOVED it. I did seriously debate making a team Cinna shirt however. (Cinna may possibly be one of may favorites and I may possibly have cried at his fate.)

Something I did not mention was that my friend, Jenny’s, birthday was the same day as my dad’s. Due to the fact that I am an incredibly busy person and a horrible friend, I only just got her present to her on Monday. I made her duck print fleece pajama pants. Her initial reaction may have been the most amazing, priceless thing EVER. She said, “You made me PANTS?!” It was wonderful. Super simple and fun. She LOVED them. I may get around to post a picture of them, but no promises. 😛

Have a spectacular Thursday!

If only you saw what I can see, you’d understand why I want you so desperately. Right now I’m looking at you and I can’t believe, you don’t know you’re beautiful. That’s what makes you beautiful.

Hi hey hello,

Sorry for the complete lack of posting for the past two days. Sunday I was soaking up my last days of Spring Break, and Monday I was sick with a migraine. Hopefully I can power through the pain in my head to get a semi-decent post out.

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Mine was spent doing about 142 things. Friday night, we had a surprise party for my mom’s birthday. I spent most of that day running around getting things ready for said party. It was really awesome and my mom loved it! She was surprised which was great because generally it isn’t super easy to pull things over on my mom. Saturday we had Diana’s birthday party. Hello Kitty themed and everything. It was fun, and though not many kids showed up, she had a blast, which was great!

I was actually productive Saturday night, I stayed up pretty late and worked on FLVS. I got a bunch done, which was awesome, seeing as I did NADA over most of SB. Sunday was the single busiest day… like ever. I left my house mid-morning Sunday, and my family and I were running around like crazy people until 6 pm. I was so unbelievably tired. Then my mom had me babysit while her, my dad, and Vlad went to see The Hunger Games. I had to wait a whole 18 hours before I got to see it. That was excruciating.

I went with Jenny and Kate, for Kate’s birthday to go see The Hunger Games. We officially decided that if they ever make another movie about a book we have read, the movie and book are two entirely separate entities. I LOVED  the book. And I really enjoyed the movie, but not together. There was just too much left out of the movie. Caught up in love for the story, I reread the first book, in two days. I would have read it faster, but I had a migraine and I forgot it at home while I was at school. It was very sad. I have not finished it and am itching to start the second one again.

What is your opinion of The Hunger Games? Love it? Hate it? Indifferent? Seen the movie?

May the odds be ever in your favor.

Mayday Mayday, Someone save me. I am fragile. Oh somebody rescue me. Oh somebody tell me you will.

Hi hey hello,

As I am leaving for my trip today I just wanted to stop by and let you guys know a few things. I will be back Sunday evening, but most likely, I will be back to posting on Tuesday. I will probably not be able to post while I am in Disney, because you have to pay for wifi, so unless I hit up a Starbucks or something, nothing from me for a few days. I will be raring to go on posts from Disney when I get back! I am going to enjoy a little time away from the internet. I love you guys!

Okay, that was more than a few things. Only one more!

It’s Rob B’s birthday today!!! If you know him, you better go wish him a happy birthday!

If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking. Then Heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss and my heart turns violently inside of my chest and I don’t have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way…

Hi hey hello,

Sorry about once again, not posting for a while. I have been like really really sick, I know, not an excuse, but it is the truth. I don’t know if you guys know, but Sunday was the little baby blog’s birthday!! He is one year old. (Yes, my blog is a boy) I cannot believe it has been one year.
This time last year, this blog was where I came and wrote all those rants about people who I knew wouldn’t read my blog, then found out they did later. Yeah, it was an awkward stage in my life, one that quickly went away, thankfully. I just want to thank all of my friends who have stood by me through those horribly bad and awkward times and thanks to all of my readers who have stumbled upon this little baby here.
In other news, Merry Christmas! I hope you all had a very merry one indeed, I know I did. Got my iPhone 4S, FIFA12, and wedges. It was indeed a good year. I will save the “what a year” post though for New Years, which I will be spending with my lovely friend, Taylor!! I am beyond excited!
I always try to think back at this time of year about what Christ did on the cross for us all those years ago. I am reading Crazy Love, and I highly recommend that book to anyone who wants to have their view of God and themselves challenged. This books has redefined how I view this time of year. Mr.Chan, in one part talks about how nothing is about us, the big story, is not at all about us. In the Bible, God created the earth, God chose the people, God used the people, God set up judges, God sent His son, God will be praised for eternity. Not one part of that is about us, all about Him and His glory, so our lives should be lived for His glory, which is ultimately our greatest good! Oh how great our God is!!

How was your Christmas? What did you do? How do you keep this season, full of gifts and food and material things, in perspective of the great gift of God?
