I’m just the same as I was. Now don’t you understand that I’m never changing who I am?

Hi hey hello,

I’m back! After that nice long break, I am finally back. I meant for that to be one week, then it turned to two, then it turned to after finals, then it turned to after Christmas, then it turned to New Years! So here I am. Before I started writing this post, I thought of all kinds of ways to apologize for not being on here… but as I thought about it, I am not sorry. For real, #sorrynotsorry . I desperately needed that break from the demands of writing everyday. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am glad to be back, but it is nice every now and then to take a nice break, especially while I can do things like that.

Now that that awkwardness is out of the way, onto summarizing what has happened in the last month or so.

1. Thanksgiving.

2. Pre-Christmas December

3. WUMC Christmas Party

4. Christmas

Not as many pictures for that one. We woke up early, opened gifts, then had family over, then chilled, then I went to Cassidy’s!

5. Day after Christmas… saw Les Mis!!! and went to work…!

PS. Happy New Year!

When words keep you from feeling good, use them as firewood and let them burn

Hi hey hello,

I hope everyone has had a wonderful break, as I know some of you may be going back to work and such.

Since I may or may not be able to post while I am in Jacksonville (or more likely won’t want to because I am hanging out with the wonderful and beautiful Taylor!), I figured that I should go ahead and post my New Year’s Resolutions. I am really bad about these, just like every other American, but hopefully, by posting them on here, publicly, I will be more apt to keep them. I may or may not have done this same thing a year ago, but I have more motivation now, so maybe.

My New Year’s Resolutions:

1. Reach my exercise and diet goals

2. Stay in the Word, every day, especially when I don’t feel like it.

3. Post a substantial post on my blog at least 6 times a week.

4. Bring in some sort of new segments on the blog

5. DIY at least 1 new thing a month, and post about it.

I am gonna come up with some more, but those are for myself, perhaps I will post about them later in the year!

What are your New Year’s Resolutions? How are you going to make sure you do them? Did you complete your New Year’s Resolutions from last year?
