I’m just the same as I was. Now don’t you understand that I’m never changing who I am?

Hi hey hello,

I’m back! After that nice long break, I am finally back. I meant for that to be one week, then it turned to two, then it turned to after finals, then it turned to after Christmas, then it turned to New Years! So here I am. Before I started writing this post, I thought of all kinds of ways to apologize for not being on here… but as I thought about it, I am not sorry. For real, #sorrynotsorry . I desperately needed that break from the demands of writing everyday. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am glad to be back, but it is nice every now and then to take a nice break, especially while I can do things like that.

Now that that awkwardness is out of the way, onto summarizing what has happened in the last month or so.

1. Thanksgiving.

2. Pre-Christmas December

3. WUMC Christmas Party

4. Christmas

Not as many pictures for that one. We woke up early, opened gifts, then had family over, then chilled, then I went to Cassidy’s!

5. Day after Christmas… saw Les Mis!!! and went to work…!

Friday Favorites!

Hi hey hello,

I hope your week was fantastic, mine was pretty dull, until Wednesday and Thursday. I don’t know, things just suddenly turned up. Bible study was great, I got Starbucks, found out I am going to the Dominican with Wakulla UMC, and two of my best friends from high school are coming into town this weekend!

Anyway, Friday Favorites!

This Week I’m Loving:

This verse:

Psalm 93:4

“But mightier than the violent raging of the seas, mightier than the breakers on the shore—the LORD above is mightier than these!”

Oh! And this too:

Have a great weekend!

And I’ve done you so wrong. Treated you bad. Strung you along. Oh shame on myself. I don’t know how I got so tangled up.

Hi hey hello,

I hope you all had a nice weekend! Mine was really rather laid back. We didn’t do much of anything. Got some homework done (as always) and laid around the house. One the plus side, I got to talk to a friend of mine that I haven’t talked to in a long time!

At youth last night Josh gave a great message, as always. He talked more about the Sermon on the Mount, but due to my inability to type right now and my sleep deprivation, I’ll leave you with this!

Have a great Monday! Happy October!

The sea is wine red. This is the death of beauty. The doves have died. The lovers have lied.

Hi hey hello,

As I said I would do on Tuesday, I will post the pictures from the train tracks. Funny story, when I went to go take these pictures, I was wearing a skirt and sandals. Unbeknownst to me, there was about a ten foot sections between the road and the train tracks that was nothing but briars. I, being who I am, was not about to turn my bike around to go back to my house to go change into more appropriate clothing, I trudged on in. There must have been about ten holes that looked like snake holes, which scared the crap out of me, because I am deathly afraid of snakes. Like, pictures of snakes scare me. Snakes On a Plane, heck no. I ended up with seriously scraped up legs. Brian made fun of my for it. Anyway, here are the pictures!

Would you have trudged forward or been a little wiser and gone home (which happened to be a 10 minute bike ride, max) and put on more appropriate clothing?

Climbing trees like we did when we were children. Scaling walls; the walls that took us years to build.

Hi hey hello,

On Monday, we spent the day relaxing at the house and hanging out poolside. We seem to be doing that a lot since my mom’s surgery… I really need to get out more. The last time I went out to go see someone was Saturday, and all we did was have lunch. Anyway, I did get some nice pictures out of the deal.

We came in and did some more relaxing. Then we sat down and had jambalaya for dinner, yum! After dinner I decided to go out and take some pictures of the train tracks just down the road from my house. As this post is already a little picture heavy, I’ll save those for another day. (:

Do you prefer to be busy or have nothing to do? I prefer a balance of the two, a little more busy time than nothing to do time.

After we hung out in the pool, we went inside, relaxed for a while longer. We had some jambalaya for dinner and did some more relaxing. I decided to take my bike out and go to the train tracks right down the road. I have been wanting to take some pictures out there for a while, so here they are!

Sing with me, sing for the years. Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears. Sing with me, just for today. Maybe tomorrow, the good lord will take you away.

Hi hey hello,

As I mentioned yesterday, my family and I went camping for the weekend. We got up there of Friday and set up camp as the sun set. It was beautiful. Saturday we got up, I went for a run, and we spent most of the day sitting on the beach, playing in the water, sliding down the 60 foot water slide, eating ice cream, and generally relaxing. Sunday, my dad and I returned home to go to church because my dad had to help run sound for the service. We went to church, picked up some things from home, and returned to the camp, though not before buying some delicious subs, Girl Scout cookies, and a surprise cake for my sister’s birthday. We got back, surprised Diana with the cake and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon on the beach. Monday morning we got up and packed up and headed home. Vlad ended up sick, but he was better by the time we got home. We went out to dinner for Diana’s birthday and rested at home for the evening. It was quite an enjoyable time.

Here are some pictures to sort of sum up the weekend:

What kinds of vacations do you all like to go on? Camping? Anything else?

All is quiet on New Year’s Day. A world in white gets underway. I want to be with you, be with you night and day.

Hi hey hello,

So, I know I said that I wouldn’t be posting anything while I am visiting my lovely friend, Taylor, but I decided that I wanted to write it early. Okay, it was more like, I was reading other blogs, and kinda felt bad about leaving you guys hanging, so I decided that I wanted to post something, and I also had a pretty cool idea of what to post about, so here you have it!

What would you guys think if I started a fashion post, like a What I Wore kinda thing, once a week? Good idea? Horrible idea, why did you even suggest it? I haven’t totally decided if I want to do it, but I love fashion, reading blogs, choosing what I wear, all that jazz, so I figured, why not incorporate it in my blog?? So yeah, just an idea thrown out there, I really would love to hear your input!

Do you all have any traditions for New Year’s? My youth group does!! We write letters to ourselves the Wednesday after New Year’s. The letters can contain anything we want, essentially they detail our lives at the moment and encouragement for us in the future. They are so fun to receive and to see how much you have grown and changed, who is still a big part of your life and who isn’t, what has really impacted you and where you want to go with life. It is fun to get a little introspective with them, because no one else is going to see them, they are to you. In a hustle and bustle world where we hardly really get a good look at ourselves, it is nice to take some time and do it! Plus, who doesn’t love to receive a letter! I know I do, so much better than an email, like the single best way to win my affections is to send me a letter.

What traditions do you have? What do you want to have?

Let me introduce you to my party people…

Hi hey hello,

After thinking about it, I realized, there are quite a few events that were not blogged about throughout the year, the most substantial being Thanksgiving, well I blogged about it, but I didn’t post any pictures about it, and I have quite a few pictures.

Got all my second cousins and the kids. The time was simply wonderful, but since I already told you guys about that, I won’t drag on!

Title Lyrics: On the Floor – Jennifer Lopez

Have a spectacular New Year! (:
