Hallelujah, to You God of the redeemed. Hallelujah, You’ve opened blinded eyes to see. And we will praise You. You are the everlasting light.

Hi hey hello,

Sorry about the post lacking yesterday, I had a horrible migraine. It was unbelievable. I am all better know though!

Onto a better note, something that has been popping up in my life a lot recently is the idea of relying on my own strength and not God’s. Many people the are heavily involved in my life have been talking about this, which has gotten me thinking about that.

I have been so stressed out lately about my family, school work, friends, college, responsibilities, life in general, that God has kind of been pushed into a little box that I pull out once a day to do a quiet time with, and then He goes right back in there. Due to all my stress I haven’t been sleeping well, I pretty much live with headaches and the occasional migraine, I have started getting easily frustrated, and it is affecting my health. You would think that seeing all this would make me stop and examine my life, but honestly, I haven’t seen it written out like this before.

It wasn’t until last night, when a good friend of mine, an intern in my youth group was talking to me about college. I told her how I was stressed about it and about my indecision and how I don’t know where God is calling me to go. Those are the thoughts that have consumed my head over the past few weeks. She told me that she didn’t know where God wanted her until the first day of college. She told me that God really does have this all in His hands, He is in control. There is no need to be stressed out about it. God has a plan for my life, and that is how it is going to go.

That is just so comforting to know that our Heavenly Father loves us, and not only loves us, but has a plan for our lives. Each and every one of us. He has it all in His hands, we really don’t have to worry about it at all. Even when things seem out of control, He is in control. That definitely helps me have peace about the things going on in my life. God has it. He always has, and He always will.

Does that encourage you? It sure does me!
