There’s no place I’d rather be, than here in Your love, here in Your love. Set a fire down in my soul, that I can’t contain and I can’t control. I want more of you God, I want more of you God.

Hi hey hello,

As many of you know, I have been in Panama for the last week or so. I got back Tuesday night and spent all yesterday resting and preparing myself to go back to school. After such an amazing week, with God working so much, school seems so very insignificant, but I know that is where God has me right now, so there I shall stay. I will say that my heart and mind stayed with those beautiful children. I will try to get some pictures up of those kids as soon as possible, I have around 1400 pictures to upload to my computer, so it may take a little while.

These kids are some of the most wonderful children I have ever met in my entire life. If you could, pray for these kids. Pray that something that was said or done will have planted a seed or that God will use something we did to bring them to know Christ as Savior. Some of the kids names were: Mateo, Lydia, Clara, Alex, Chancho, Edison, and so many others whose names I cannot think of right now.

One of the many highlights of my week was after a VERY rocky trip home, on the last flight, from Tampa to Tallahassee, some of us got to watch the sunset from the plane, and after 38 hours spent in 4 different airports, it was as if God was telling me, “See Liz, I’ve got this.” Best week of my life, cannot wait to go back. I will be back tomorrow with details about each day and MAYBE some pictures!

Kneeling on this battle ground. Seeing just how much You’ve done. Knowing every victory, was Your power in us.

Hi hey hello,

Happy Wednesday! As I was reading last night during my quiet time, I read Proverbs 16:33. In the NLT, this verse says, “We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall.” I LOVE how this translation puts it. We can go for something and have it all planned out, but in the end, God dictates the outcome.

With my college plans, I can plan and plan and keep planning, but God will ultimately put me where He wants me. If I am supposed to go to a specific college, God will open that door and close the other. Where God guides, God provides. God is in control, ultimately.

With my mission trip to Panama, it may seem like a big weight on my shoulders to act as a translator of sorts, but God is in control. He will give me the perfect opportunities. He isn’t going to give me something that is too much for me to handle. It may be more than I think I can handle, but God knows my real breaking point. He knows it all, so even though some decisions may seem like my own, they are in God’s hands.

We may throw the dice, but God determines how they fall.

Just some thoughts for this lovely Wednesday.
What do you all think about this?

Con mi fe te exaltaré, Con mi amor te exaltaré, Con mi ser te exaltaré.

Hi hey hello,

I don’t know if I have mentioned it on here before or not, but in April of this year, the juniors and seniors at my school are going on a mission trip, to Panama. We will be down there for roughly a week, and I believe we are going the week after spring break. Our mission trip last year was to Albany, NY and I am so excited this year to have our out-of-country mission trip. I have been out of the country before, I went to Israel, Jordan, and Egypt with my dad back in 8th grade, and I went the Bahamas on a cruise, and Mexico one time, we took a cruise when I was really little, but I don’t remember that. The only memory I have of that was getting sea sick and throwing up all over my dad.

Needless to say, I am beyond excited. It will be the first time I have ever left the country without my parents and I will be surrounded by my best friends. I am so pumped to experience God in a new way down in Panama. One thing God taught me when we were in Albany is that He is the same God in Albany, Tallahassee, and around the world, so I am thrilled to see what God will teach us while we are down there. I know He has something big planned. I can see my Spanish growing and shaping each day and it gets me even more excited, because now I will be able to communicate with the people better.

Hey, did I mention that I am really excited about this trip? I think I need to say it one more time, I AM SO EXCITED!

Anyway, have a spectacular Friday!
